REVIEW: HUMAN HEART NATURE

This week, I've been very much interested with Human Heart Nature store near my workplace. This is a cosmetic line which claims to be PRO-PHILIPPINES, PRO-POOR & PRO-ENVIRONMENT.



Which means that:

1. Pro-Philippines - They only use products which can be "grown" here in the Philippines, even the packaging is made in the Philippines

2. Pro-poor - Human Heart Nature developed world-class "organic" farms and enterprises which can multiply the income of the people. They have a Citronella Farm in Camarines Sur & Camarines Norte, two Lemon Grass Farm in Negros Occidental, Passion Fruit & Sunflower farm in Davao, VCO farm in Iloilo and GK (Gawad Kalinga) Enchanted Farm in Bulacan which is their testing site for the crops.

3. Pro-Environment - They only use the most NATURAL & ORGANIC raw materials since cosmetics that have harmful chemical might seep back to our soil and water.

Sorry for the hazy photo. I got a Mineral Blush in Petal Bloom, a Mineral Hydrating Lipstick in Sweet Nectar and a Mineral Powder in Boracay Bronze which I will use for contouring.



Like I said, they are cruelty-free products, the first ever and assures you that their products are 100% Natural.

1. 100% Natural Mineral Powder in Boracay Bronze (P295)



The moment I saw this powder, I immediately thought of contouring, when I swatched it on my hand, it looks like a Matte Bronzer, its very pigmented and it comes with a SPONGE. This item comes in 4 different shades, this shade is in Boracay Bronze, its specifically for MORENA skinned Filipina Girls.

It comes on smoothly, its NOT CHALKY. Its sort of unscented, but it still has a little bit of smell to it, its CLEAN SMELLING, so fresh. I love it. It also has the pretty purple packaging which I love, this also comes with a sponge, but I'm going to set it aside because I am more of a brush-user. The staying power is pretty fair my skin is COMBINATION-OILY, I tried it, and stayed on for 6 hours for me.

lastly, its TALC FREE. I repeat, TALC FREE!

FACT: Talc is commony found in cosmetics powders and  can be contaminated with asbestos fibers which poses risks for acquiring respiratory toxicity and cancer.

2. 100% Natural Mineral Blush in Petal Bloom (P225)



This stuff is AMAZING. Its very sheer and glides on smoothly, staying power is an unbelievable. 8 Hours for my COMBINATION-OIL Y skin. What you see is what you get, meaning, its true to its COLOR. It has a twist off case doesn't come with any brush, but that's OK. I just love this shade for my skin tone. again this has 4 different shades and again, its TALC FREE.



3.  100% Natural Hydrating Mineral Lipstick (P225)

One things about this lipstick, it reminds me alot of the Revlon Lipbutter. Its so soft on your lips, and the lasting power for me is pretty good, 6 hours MAX. I chose a pretty shaded called SWEET NECTAR, its very natural looking to my lips and it smells amazing. I am truly a HUMAN HEART NATURE fan.

And here's a funny fact from their website:

Carmine, an ingredient commonly used in lipsticks to achieve the bright pink and red pigments, is derived from the crushed bodies of the female cochineal insects. The very thought of applying crushed insects on your lips is simply… mortifying! They might only be insects, but we take our cruelty-free accreditation very seriously. Human Nature’s Natural Care Labs spent almost an entire year of research to come up with shades for you which don’t have carmine. Only the Good!
