CLUELESS FILIPINA EP.7: LIP EXFOLIATION & DIY FRENCH TOAST FLAVORED LIP SCRUB

There is one thing most AVERAGE filipina women tend to forget when putting on lipstick...and that is making their lips smooth.



Smooth lips is important when putting on lipstick, because your lips would look 10x ever so beautiful in it, as compared to women with chappy lips and lipstick on (eek!),its the same as a face with cakey foundation. YOU CANNOT APPLY LIPSTICK PROPERLY/IT WOULD BE TOO OBVIOUS if you have CHAPPED lips like this:

So, I'm here to teach you guys, ways how you can exfoliate your lips!

METHOD 1:

What you need: Toothbrush & Running water

Grab a toothbrush and wet it under cool water. Wet your lips with water, and brush your lips in a circular motion (as if your brushing your teeth). This is no different in skin exfoliation (remember, lips are our skin too, only thinner). This will remove all dead skin. Pat it dry on a towel and apply you favorite moisturizing lipbalm.

Some people would brush their lips with petroleum jelly (e.g. vaseline) to me, this is much effective because this absolutely brings back your lips' moisture and better exfoliates.

METHOD 2:

DIY Lip Scrub

Lip scrubs are fun and easy to use, this definitely exfoliates lips more! Just think of it aas having a seasalt scrub in your body.

Salt is an awesome exfoliator, but if I were to put it on my lips, I would this taste its' saltiness!

So we use "SUGAR"

What you need:

Sugar, EVVO (Extra virgin olive oil or plain olive oil), measuring spoon, another spoon, and a small jar container or just any container that is clean.

but the above things aren't any fun, so I added pancake syrup and cinnamon, and I call this lip scrub flavor "FRENCH TOAST" :D

So why make one?

1. It's a no brainer

2. It's cheap, I don't need to buy stuff that I know I can make on my own.

3. It's fun

4. It's very personal

STEP 1: Grab your stuff

STEP 2: Clean your hands and sanitize your container and measuring spoons.

STEP 3: Put 2 tablespoon of sugar



STEP 4: Put 2 teaspoons of Pancake Syrup



STEP 5: Put 1 teaspoons of EVVO



STEP 6: Fold/Mix it gently together



STEP 7: Add a dash of cinnamon, and fold/mix





STEP 8: Tidy up the rim with a clean cloth and there you go!



You can put your own labels and send it as a small gift! It's really fun! and you can invent with different flavors. The good thing? its 100% natural.

You do this prior to brushing your teeth.

Moisten your lips, and take as much as a pinch of this or more and rub it onto your lips and rinse. Repeat as desired. Apply Lipbalm after as desired.

You will feel that your lips are 10x more smoother!

Just remember to keep your lips healthy looking:

1. Drink plenty of water.

2. Use a lipbalm to keep your lips in top condition!
